Many drivers in Southern California know that most roads that they come across are dilapitated, and only getting worse as governments overlook a crumbling transportation infrastructure. However, recent developments with plans for high-speed rail and a subway to the sea show greater planning towards reliving congestion throughout Los Angeles and the country. Director of UCLA's Lewis Center, and Urban Planning Professor Brian Taylor recently spoke to NPR's Morning Edition regarding another growing segment of transportation revival.
