The School of Public Affairs houses several research centers that bring together scholars across the University community and across disciplines. These centers address diverse issues including housing, the environment, transportation, aging, and the role of nonprofits and philanthropic organizations in civil society.  Through research with affiliated centers at UCLA, faculty and students in the School of Public Affairs also collaborate on a number of projects and activities in areas that include health care, international relations, education, and other complex public issues.
