Fellowships

Financial assistance to graduate students is one of the highest priorities of the Dean and the School’s departmental chairs.   

• An annual gift of $7,500 provides one scholarship to an outstanding student.
• An endowed gift of $100,000 enables a donor to name the fellowship in perpetuity.

The School presently awards over forty-five fellowships each year.  These generous donors inspire our students and faculty through their commitment to public service and excellence in public policy, social welfare, and urban planning. 

Endowed Funds

Individuals may create a named, endowed fund with a minimum gift of $100,000. Such a gift establishes a permanent tribute at the School, and endorses its high standards of teaching, research and service. Endowed funds often support lectures, scholarships, visiting scholars and faculty chairs. In an Endowed Fund, interest earned by the investment supports the donor's wishes, while the principal remains intact in perpetuity.
