Patrick is a Ph.D. student in Urban Planning, focusing on economic development. His research seeks to inform regional policy with insights from Economic Geography. Broadly, he is interested in how the regional economy shapes higher-level economic structures. He focuses on sectors and activities in the cultural economy.
Patrick comes to LA by way of Albuquerque and Toronto. He is affiliated with the Institute for Research on Labor and Employment (Los Angeles), and the Martin Prosperity Institute (Toronto).
