MSW Information Session #1

Oct 4 @ 5:30 pm-7:30 pm

Are you thinking about an MSW program?  Do you have questions about the MSW and whether you need or want this degree to advance your career?  Are you trying to figure out the differences between the various MSW programs?  Then this information session is just for you.  Come and meet the people behind the UCLA Luskin MSW program.  This is an informal, relaxing setting that is ideal for asking questions and gaining information about our Department. Come to room 2343 in the Public Affairs Bldg. The UCLA Department of Social Welfare offers a full-time, two-year professional masters program leading to an MSW degree that combines academic coursework with practical fieldwork experience in welfare, health, gerontological, educational, mental health, legal, and other social work agencies, both public and private. Every year, the department admits approximately 100 students to the program. The MSW program recruits students from groups that historically have not participated in university education because of age, socioeconomic background, disability, geography, or discrimination. We seek a student body that reflects cultural diversity in keeping with the values and goals of the profession of social work. For additional dates click here.
