Public Policy student Brandon Dowling has been one of a select few to receive the Best and Brightest Scholarship for the 2012-13 school year, courtesy of the Millennium Momentum Foundation.

Dowling, who is set to graduate from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs in June, can add this honor to his already-growing résumé. The native of Palmdale, Calif. is also a Rosenfield Fellow, which is a high-level apprenticeship program at selected government agencies and nonprofit organizations.

Dowling was awarded the honor during a Millennium Momentum Foundation ceremony in November that featured Golden Globe Award winning actor Kiefer Sutherland. Dowling has also previously interned for two Congress members, including Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.
