The UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs hosted "Children in Poverty: Improving the Quality of Life in Los Angeles County," a forum for scholars and practitioners to explore community factors contributing to child poverty.

In a half-day program of panel discussions, punctuated by two special addresses, the forum highlighted work by nonprofit organizations, governmental and non-governmental agencies, faith-based groups and researchers. The event drew roughly 150 attendees.
