The Department of Public Policy of the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs seeks to recruit a tenure-track, assistant professor (any rank) in public policy. We seek candidates with interests in urban and social policy, immigration, science and technology policy, transportation, public infrastructure, and other related areas (domestic and/or international).
The successful candidate will be expected to teach policy analysis, as well as courses such as public finance, urban or social policy, among others. We welcome applicants with expected doctorates in public policy, economics, urban planning, engineering, sociology, political science, and related fields, as well as those who have received their doctorates within the past few years.
The position involves research, teaching, and service contributions to the Department. The Department offers a two-year Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree program and participates actively in an undergraduate minor in public affairs.
