Application Information

The Application process begins with the UCLA Graduate Division Online Application:

The UCLA Graduate Division [2] application includes submitting basic information including your academic history and the degree program to which you wish to apply, as well as the payment of an application fee ($80 for domestic applicants and $100 for international applicants).
Application fee must be submitted online by credit or debit card before the application can be processed. Note: Fees are subject to change.

For all students applying for merit-based fellowships, the final deadline is December 15.

For PhD applicants, the final deadline for submitting your applicantion is January 10.

For MSW applicants, the final deadline for submitting your applicantion is January 15.

It is important to note:

• GRE scores are sent separately by the testing center. Applicants who have submitted their application will be notified by the department via email when GRE test results have been received.
• Applications must be completed by the deadline.
• 

Incomplete or late applications received after the deadline will not be reviewed.
• While the department can recommend whether a student should be offered admission, the Graduate Division has final authority in all admission decisions.

Non-U.S. residents interested in the program should review the requirements for international applicants [5].
