For Students

Funding opportunities, competitive awards, events, and employment information.

The Lewis Center is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to the interdisciplinary study and understanding of policy issues affecting California.  The Center supports high-quality research and advances public education in several ways.  We welcome and invite students to participate in our research programs, attend and engage in our events and public forums, and to take advantage of our resources to enhance their educational experiences here at UCLA.

The Lewis Center provides a number of opportunities for students.  On an annual basis, we award about a dozen student grants to support a wide range of student capstone projects. We also hold frequent events and special presentations that allow students to interact with activists and prominent leaders in their chosen fields of study.
