Calendar of Events

Professor Dallas Swendeman, professor at the UCLA School of Public Health, will discuss the Sonagachi Project and the role of social workers and other professionals in this project.  He will address gender inequality, empowerment frameworks and sustainability in international projects.The Sonagachi Project, based in Calcutta, India, has been associated with lower HIV rates among sex workers as compared to other urban centres in India.
