In lieu of gifts, we ask that you donate towards Maciek’s Fellowship Campaign.
The Maciek Kolodziejczak Fellowships in Public Policy honor a person whose relentless dedication and joyful spirit exemplify the idea that individuals really can make a difference in this world. It recognizes his legacy as someone who was there for the founding of the Public Policy program at UCLA and shepherded an entire generation of young scholars and policy professionals to advance knowledge in the public interest.
The fellowships will be awarded to students who demonstrate exemplary leadership among their classmates and service to the community, the Department of Public Policy, the Luskin School and UCLA at large. In the same spirit, Maciek has personally kick-started the campaign with a lead gift.
Since its inception, the Department of Public Policy at UCLA Luskin has produced graduates who are agents of positive change and effective public service. Many were profoundly influenced by Maciek, who has served as the department’s graduate adviser since 1996. Now in his final year at UCLA Luskin before retiring, Maciek has initiated a mechanism to continue serving public policy students well after his tenure on staff comes to an end. He hopes all public policy alumni will join him in making a gift to support future MPP students.
