Senior Fellows 25th Anniversary

May 24 @ 6:30 pm-8:00 pm

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO OCTOBER 26TH.

We would like to invite all past and present mentors and mentees of the Senior Fellows program to join us on May 24th as we celebrate 25 years of mentorship and meaningful engagement through the Senior Fellows program.

On this evening, we will also celebrate a successful fundraising campaign that will allow UCLA Luskin to support more students, as well as honor and reflect upon the work of VC Powe who was the heart of the Senior Fellows Program.  Her leadership, dedication, and finesse in matching Senior Fellows to students was integral to its success.

We hope you join us for this dinner and time to connect and reconnect with all those who have come through the Senior Fellows program and whom have guided the UCLA Luskin students and alumni to be the changemakers they are today.

RSVP links have been sent via email. If you participated in the Senior Fellows program, and did not receive an invitation, please email czarate@luskin.ucla.edu.

About the Program

The Senior Fellows Program is the premier leadership career training program of the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. The mission of the Senior Fellows Leadership Program is to engage prominent leaders as role models for graduate students from Public Policy, Social Welfare and Urban Planning. The program features policy, public service and community leaders who act as role models to lead UCLA Luskin students to careers in the public interest.

The Senior Fellows Leadership Program was designed to enrich students’ education by giving them individual access to policy makers and community leaders who have successfully addressed major public issues. The goal of the mentor program is to help two to three students build a relationship with a Senior Fellow in their field of interest. Students participating in the Senior Fellows Leadership Program utilize this unique opportunity to shadow their Fellows, meet leaders and senior level managers, gain invaluable career guidance, and obtain applied knowledge that enhances their academic courses of study.
