10th Annual Social Services in the Latino/a Community ConferenceStudents and professionals interested in dialoguing about complex issues impacting the Latino/a community are invited to take part in this conference and learn culturally sensitive interventions to better serve the Latino/a community. Keynote speaker: Fernando Torres-GilChair of the Department of Social Welfare Workshop topics include:Critical Race TheoryLGBT issuesEducationK-12GangsCommunity Organizaing for Violence PreventionImmigrationEvidence-based PracticesDCFS Program InterventionThe conference is free.
