UCLA Blueprint Public Discussion: LA Leaders On Immigration & Civic Action

Sep 12 @ 6:30 pm-8:30 pm

Where is U.S. immigration policy headed? Congress is considering legislation on one hand to slash legal immigration in half, and on the other to give Dreamers more rights. The future of DACA is uncertain, and White House travel bans are in place but under assault legally. The White House sees immigrants as a threat; most Americans disagree. Blueprint editor-in-chief Jim Newton joins labor leader and immigration advocate Maria Elena Durazo and other thinkers on immigration to discuss federal immigration policy, California’s resistance and how we can all take action.
