In Search of a Public Policy School: An Overview of Public Policy Education in American Universities

The current proposal to establish a public policy school at UCLA. by merging existing programs from the Schools of Architecture and Urban Planning, Social Welfare, and Public Health has raised a number of important questions, such as:

What would such a proposed School of Public Policy look like? 

How would it be organized? 

Where would the faculty for such a program come from? 

What type of degree would it offer, what sort of courses would it teach?
