The MSW/MPP concurrent degree is completed over three years and integrates coursework from UCLA Luskin’s Department of Social Welfare and Department of Public Policy. Students complete the MSW curriculum in the first year, followed by MPP core coursework and remaining MSW requirements, including advanced concentration courses, electives, and field education. Students must complete the academic requirements for both degrees through a coordinated plan of study, including a summer field placement requirement during the second year.
