The UCLA Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) program arms students with a comprehensive understanding of real estate, equipping them with the skills needed to succeed in this rapidly growing industry. Core required courses emphasize both real estate development fundamentals and urban development within the larger context of urban policy, institutions, politics, and outcomes that affect development.
The STEM-designated program can be completed in as little as 9.5 months, or 12 months including an optional 10-week full-time summer internship placement. Both options are preceded by a one-week boot camp providing a 360-degree view of the industry across acquisitions, design, entitlements, finance, construction, and operations.
