UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs faculty members have been recognized in the 2026 Stanford-Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List, highlighting the scholarly influence of research across the school’s academic disciplines.
Compiled by Stanford University in partnership with the publishing company Elsevier and SciTech Strategies, the list includes more than 100,000 researchers across 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields. The ranking is designed to offer visibility across disciplines, bringing attention to work that might otherwise remain niche or underappreciated.
The Stanford/Elsevier database recognizes researchers for their scholarly influence through two measures: career-long impact, which evaluates cumulative research citations, and single-year impact, which measures citations received during 2025.
