Luskin Lecture: Cult of the Gun

Join us for a panel discussion focusing on the history, laws and current gun culture in the United States with keynote speaker Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, historian, writer and professor emeritus in Ethnic Studies at California State University. Dunbar-Ortiz will join a thought-provoking panel discussion with Ismael Ileto, an anti-hate-crimes and anti-gun-violence activist and co-founder of the Asian Americans Advancing Justice “Joseph Ileto Courage Award,” and Adam Winkler, professor at UCLA School of Law and a specialist in constitutional law, the Supreme Court and gun policy. The discussion will be moderated by Brad Rowe, lecturer of Public Policy for criminal justice and drugs at UCLA Luskin as well as policy director for the UCLA Cannabis Research Initiative.
