Luskin Learning Series: In Conversation with Policy Makers on Housing and Homelessness

Jan 31 @ 5:00 pm-6:00 pm

For the 2022-2023 academic year UCLA Luskin is hosting a series of events to promote connection to and discussion with leaders in the affordable housing and homelessness space. A primary goal of this program is to center the conversations around racial and social justice as it relates to the housing, homelessness and government topic. We are excited to host all current Luskin students and alumni for what will be the beginning of a great series of engaging conversations.

We are pleased to have 4 distinguished panelists:

  • Jason Pu (Regional Administrator for HUD Region IX)
  • Ann Sewill (GM of the City of Los Angeles’ Housing Department)
  • Eric Shaw (Director of the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development)
  • Sasha Hauswald (Assistant Deputy Director of our Division of State Financial Assistance)

This event is moderated by Luskin’s own,  Michael Lens (Associate Professor of Urban Planning and Policy, and Associate Faculty Director of the Lewis Center for Regional policy Studies) .
