Please join us as Alea Orange, M.Ed. (she/her), Rise Center Health & Well-Being Coordinator leads us in mindfulness practices. Students (Staff and Faculty are encouraged to attend) will learn the basics of mindfulness and explore ways of using the outdoors as a tool and anchor for mindfulness practice.
The RISE Center’s core mission is to uplift and support every Bruin’s well-being by providing the education, resources, and tools needed to foster health, healing, and hope for themselves and the world around them. As an extension of CAPS (Counseling & Psychological Services), RISE serves as the campus Resilience Center as part of Student Resilience and Mental Health Services.
