Join OSAAR for an enriching career tour at El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument! This immersive experience offers a chance to explore the intersection of historic preservation, civic engagement, and urban planning in one of LA’s most iconic cultural sites. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour El Pueblo’s historic landmarks and preservation efforts, network with Luskin alumni in city planning, heritage conservation, and community development, and learn how public affairs graduates can shape the future of LA. This unique opportunity will be hosted by Edgar Garcia (MURP 2006), Interim General Manager at El Pueblo.
Participants will be connected to one another prior to the event to coordinate transportation and carpools. The tour will end on Olvera Street, where attendees are welcome to stay for lunch and support local LA restaurants and businesses!
