Clemente Larraín
Clemente is a PhD student in urban planning at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. His research focuses on land markets and how they relate to current challenges such as housing affordability, urban finance, and socioeconomic segregation.
He has a Bachelor and Master of Science in transport engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Before joining the PhD, Clemente worked as a researcher on housing and urban development at different policy institutes and as an adjunct professor at the same university. Clemente has contributed to research projects for different institutions, such as the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy (LILP), and LSE Cities.
