In this presentation, Michelle will discuss the core concepts of infant mental health, describe how infant mental health services support families, and describe Venice Family Clinic’s infant mental health program and opportunities to work with the program.
Michelle Marlowe, LCSW is the Infant Mental Health Supervisor at Venice Family Clinic. She specializes in working with families and their young children who are between the ages of zero to three, providing infant mental health services to strengthen attachment, address the impact of trauma on families, and support the social-emotional development of babies and toddlers. She has worked with families and their young children in community health and medical settings in Colorado, California, and New Zealand. Michelle received her MSW from Smith College in 2009 and is a current Napa Infant-Parent Mental Health Fellow.
