2020 VISIONS: Planning for a Latino Majority in Los Angeles with Antonia Hernandez, California Community Foundation

The CSRC 40th Anniversary Distinguished Lecture & Reception For over three decades, Antonia Hernández has been a crucial voice in civil rights, immigration, and philanthropy. Since 2004, she has been President and CEO of the California Community Foundation. Hernández is past President and General Counsel of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), which she first joined in 1981. She serves on numerous boards and commissions, including the Commission on Presidential Debates and the UCLA School of Law Board of Advisors. Hernández earned her bachelor’s in history and a law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). UCLA co-sponsors include: Office for Faculty Diversity & Development, School of the Arts and Architecture, School of Law, School of Public Affairs, School of Public Health, School of Theater, Film, and Television, and César E.
