Career Paths: Katja Nelson, UCLA MPP ’15
Katja Nelson MPP ’15 is the Local Affairs Specialist at APLA Health, a federally qualified health center in Los Angeles. Katja engages in policy and advocacy work by collaborating with a broad group of community partners. Her work primarily addresses health care access and affordability, health equity, and housing and homelessness issues. Katja is a double Bruin, holding B.A.’s in Political Science and Russian Studies and a Master of Public Policy.
