Envisioning Compassionate Cities

Jan 18 @ 12:00 pm-2:00 pm

Please join the UCLA Department of Urban Planning at a participatory visioning exercise, Envisioning Compassionate Cities.  We will discuss and visually represent what a compassionate city might look like and then identifying some of the urban planning-related challenges to, and opportunities for creating, compassionate cities. We hope to build on the outcomes from this event by hosting additional discussions throughout the year.

The event will be facilitated by Kian Goh (Urban Planning Professor), Kiara Nagel (Program Associate, Center for Story-Based Strategy), and Gilda Haas (educator, organizer, and urban planner).
